Has Georgia and Alabama been called for McCain on network TV? I see it has been called on the MSN homepage.

Are you going to give it Chlymida too? |

Is this supposed to answer my question? Because I'm still thinking urban legend here. |
Medical marijuana is going to pass in Michigan.

She just doesn't do it for me. Although if I impregnated her, she would have to bear the child, which is a plus.
|
hasn't been called on CNN (but cnn is being very slow to call this year - which i actually prefer, gives me greater confidence in it being right)
|

I just heard Fox call it. |

I don't know about network. I'm following the streaming MSNBC feed, and they called it there. |
errr cnn calls alabama "based on a lot of information including exit polls"
|
Guys, you're forgetting the cardinal rule. No sticking it in the crazy
|
RI, MI, NY, MN, WI to Obama per CNN
WY + ND for McCain |
Interesting that MN was called for Obama and ND for McCain at poll closings. Neither results are a surprise of course.
|
New Mexico called for Obama on Fox.
|
My aunt is a 3rd grade teacher in Georgia and she had a student tell her that her mother said that if Obama wins, she'll shoot him herself.

Either that or they can tell which results posted include early voting & which don't. You could do some reasonable extrapolation with that info. But at the same time, I'm not seeing things that would lead me to call based strictly on what's been posted so far. Little snapshots, such as Wilkes County which went 55% Bush (statewide was 58%) in '04 being completed tonight with Chambliss leading Martin 49.4% to 48.5%. That's within the margin for an outright win if everything held up the same way elsewhere but it also showed a virtual zero change in total votes from 4 years ago, meaning it doesn't appear reliable as a predictor (since it didn't experience increased activity). |
I'm on CNN's website but listening to MSNBC and it's pretty funny how they keep calling different states.

Somebody needs to emphasize the importance of leaving what's said at home at home. |

Still rather quick (only two years in a downturn). I just find it interesting they are trying to tax everything (such as taxing college endowments over a $1 billion and bringing in casinos), instead of cutting costs. Do you think that the state would collect more sales tax revenue and would see a long-term increase in new jobs (thanks to lower taxes) and more individual spending? Would it stop the flight of people to places like New Hampshire. |

Except now they've turned Michigan blue...with McCain in the lead. And Wisconsin blue...with 0 votes. |
CNN calls NM and NH Senate seats for Dems (Udall+Shaheen) +2

I don't have a problem with that when it is not going to be close. |

very milfy. I'd hit it. |
Obama has a 5% lead in North Carolina with 32% reporting. That's about a 130,000 vote lead right now.
|
Begala+Carville are saying Obama will carry FL (based on their conversations and their knowledge of the states) - NOT cnn calling it though
|

Your right. My apologies Noop. |
Jennifer Granholm on MSNBC. She's pretty corrupt, isn't she? (only from what I've read on her).

It's embarrassing to live in a state where Chambliss can get re-elected (after getting elected in the first place). I'm not devastated, I won't lose sleep over it, but he's really scum. |

It's all good. |
Quote:
how did the POS get reelected? |
Quote:
It didn't hurt to run against a dolt. But he does get heavy redneck support. |
NC is now at 100,000 difference (Obama leading). Virginia is separated by 25,000 votes (McCain leading). Indiana is at 40,000 votes (McCain leading). Florida is at 200,000 votes (Obama leading).
No 2004 red state has flipped yet (at least according to CNN and MSNBC), but those 4 are really close. |
random observation - Obama @ 174 right now according to CNN estimates.
Therefore, CA (55) + FL (27) + OH (20) puts him over the top (assuming all "calls" hold) |
Quote:
I'm going to answer that as honestly as I can: by not being a liberal p.o.s. Any mistakes he might make pale in comparison to that. |
Quote:
175-76 according to ABC News. /tk |
CNN now calling KY Senate for McConnell - very close though - 51 to 49 with 56% of the vote in
|
Fox just called Ohio for Obama. I think that's it.

even if he raped babies? |
dola
yeah...i went there |

I have never heard that she is corrupt, but some people believe she is inept. |
Quote:
I saw that. I think agree with you, McCain is done. |
O stands for Ohio
|
i'd rather hit gloria borger and/or campbell brown than sarah palin
|
Quote:
Or maybe just tone down the hate talk. There's an idea. |
Quote:
Thanks for the clarification. |
Quote:
MSNBC called Ohio as well for Obama. |
Quote:
I'd rather hit the chick that gave Karl the clap than Sarah Palin. |
ABC also called Ohio for Obama.
|
I still have a hard time believing Chambliss can run away with this because Dekalb and Fulton haven't really been posted (at least not on any sites I see). Oh well.
|
MSNBC projects Louisiana for McCain.
|
Talk about an anti-climatic night. lol
