Obama wins CT
|
and DEL
|
MSNBC called Pennsylvania for Obama but that's probably like Fox News calling West Virginia for McCain.
|
DC, MD, NJ, MA also called, although those aren't surprises at all.
|
Quote:
Umm...wow. They called New Hamshire as well, when CNN has not. |
MSNBC just called PA for Obama
|
Obama:
Massachusetts Connecticut New York Delaware Vermont Pennsylvania Maryland Illinois D.C. New Jersey Maine McCain: Oklahoma Tennessee Kentucky South Carolina |
MSNBC basicly just said Obama won the election
|
Quote:
We've already discussed that. It doesn't exist, so don't bring it up again. |
Quote:
Yeah but it's MSNBC, you have to take it with a grain of salt. Same thing with FOX. /tk |
Quote:
They did that in about March. |
Quote:
lol |
MSNBC jerks off to Obama, just like Fox does with Bush/McCain.
|
Fox says Tenn to McCain.
|
Quote:
Fox called WV for McCain earlier as well. |
Obama:
Massachusetts Connecticut New York Delaware Vermont Pennsylvania Maryland Illinois D.C. New Jersey Maine McCain: Oklahoma Tennessee Kentucky South Carolina West Virginia |
Dole lost to Hagan in North Carolina.
|
So, basically CNN is breaking down the rural counties in several states showing that Obama is out performing Kerry in the areas Bush won. Changes from 60-40 Bush/Kerry to 53-47 McCain/Obama will kill McCain.
|
By the sounds of it, CNN just had a live interview with the girl who works at my McDonalds drive thru.
|
Okay I'm here
|
Quote:
Yeah. She even asked "Want fries with that?" |
Well Biden can rest easy, he won his senate race!
|
Quote:
Glad you're here. We were just discussing Wolf Blitzers dreamy beard. |
I know its early, but based on what is in so far, I wouldn't be surprised to see Florida go to Obama and Virginia go to McCain. Which is the opposite of what the trends predicted. (And would be a good trade for Obama obviously.)
|
Quote:
Good (if only because of that insane ad). Also of note, that was Jesse Helms' seat, according to some guy on Fox News. |
Quote:
Who's calling that race? |
I didn't realize that Massachusetts has a ballot question of "Abolish dog racing?".
|
Quote:
Haha! nice. |
Quote:
Fox did... |
Quote:
I've been flipping around. The people talking on Fox News a few minutes ago were talking as if Hagan won, so I guess Fox News called it. |
101 million votes in 2000 and 121 million votes in 2004. How many in 2008?
|
Quote:
They had it at 60-39 or something when I saw it. |
yeah - i voted to abolish dog racing - i like dogs
and i voted to decriminalize pot possession (well, make it a fine vs. jailtime) |
Hagan/Dole: Good to know, we're watching CNN. It's a pretty wide split, but that's a similar Dem/Rep split as the presidential and governor races, so didn't think it was good enough to call yet.
|
Quote:
You are a good man, DT. Dog racing is really messed up. |
BBC says that 97% of (eligible) African Americans in GA voted. Wow. (if I heard that right)
|
Quote:
I agree with you. I was just surprised that it was an actual ballot question for citizens to vote on. I know the big one in Mass. is repealing the income tax. |
Quote:
If you think it is hard on the dogs, imagine how hard it is on the jockeys! |
I haven't seen this posted but google has a really cool election map that allows you to scroll over states and check voting by counties.

That would only be a couple points higher than normal. |
Quote:
I hates it. So does my puppy. |
Just got in and it does seem that Black Panther issue was much ado about nothing. That's a good thing (even though it means I was wrong earlier ;) )
|
Quote:
I voted the same way. I also made my wife really mad by voting yes on prop #1 as well. (I voted yes on all three) |
Quote:
yeah - i'm checking it out |
Quote:
At least you admit it, Arlie. You're cool :) |
CNN calls NH for Obama
|
Quote:
Your wife likes to pay taxes for a bloated, mismanaged government? |
MSNBC calls Hagan-Dole race (projecting Hagan will win)
|
Any Maryland-er's? I was wondering how the slots vote was going...
/tk |
Fox just called PA for Obama. That means an Obama win is all but certain now.
