So some dick wants Dell to give him free tech support, and when they don't he pitches a fit and threatens to cry to his friends? Fuck that guy.

Sun Tzu 12-26-2010 09:55 AM

Listing which processors are supported should be standard. Gateway has a similar rule now. If you own a Gateway laptop, you have no way of turning on virtualization because you're given a restricted BIOS. I asked why and how, and was told that I'd have to pay for advanced tech support (one week after my purchase, and fully under warranty) to have someone tell me how to unlock this standard feature.

No, I'm sorry, but Its Dell's machine, its Dell's update to Dell's BIOS. There is nothing that needs to be paid for there, he paid for it when he bought the machine.

Once you are past the warranty for your PC the maker really doesn't care unless you do find a kindhearted enough soul, or complain to someone high enough up.

Where in the world is that? I mean you're from Wisconsin so I could see it being there ;) but they appear to be driving on the other side of the road so it must be somewhere in Europe, right?

could be Japan, saw a report a while back on a ski reservoir up there thatīs actually famous for those snow walls. Google says the place/mountain might be called Norikura.

At any rate it makes for an awesome picture :)

You are right, got them from this story, New York Looks Like Snow Zombieland—But It's Nothing Compared to Japan, they have added a few more photos as well. As for my location should really change that as I just finished going to school there and hate Wisconsin with a passion. ;)

After playing catch up with a ton of pages here, I thought I'd toss out my summary.

The thread title should be edited to "The catch-all thread for random cool images, things that may be funny, sexy girls, obese girls, pictures or videos of gore, spiders, bugs, boobies ....."

The cat diary works especially well if you read it in Stewie Griffin's voice.

A reproduction of a handout photo released by the Dagsa family on January 4 shows a man pointing his gun towards politician Reynaldo Dagsa who was taking a photo of family members (front) on December 31. The murdered Philippine politician took the photo just moments before he was shot dead, leading to the arrest of the suspected gunman, police said.
