McCain looks to be pulling away in Indiana

To liven up the day...YouTube - If The Other Party Wins
It is work safe. (sorry, was not able to embed it) |
aIndiana just flipped again
Pat Buchannon just compared Obama to FDR, and this might be that big a shift for the Democratic party. Strange.

Quote:
He currently has a two point lead based on voted entirely culled from rural counties, all of which are voting way (5-10%) down from what they did for Bush in '04... just wait until Marion/Lake county starts to trickle in. |
If Obama can stay within 2 in Indiana, it means it is very likely tonight will break like the polls predicted.
Ha, CNN going all Jedi ghost hologram with its reporters.
Did CNN just "beam" a correspondent in? WTF?!
thats pretty sweet

The big thing is to see what counties are reporting. hxxp://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/results/individual/#mapPIN Marion and Lake counties are typically both big Democratic counties and neither county has reported any results. St. Joseph county (South Bend area) is also a democratic county by Indiana standards, but I heard on TV that Bush won the county by one or two percent in 2004. Right now Obama is up 64% to 35% with a third of the precincts reporting. |
MSNBC's night coverage is a good bit more biased liberally than their coverage was for the most of the day. Not sure how much longer I can tolerate this station tonight.

that may be the dumbest thing i've ever seen. |
Save us Wolf Blitzer, you're our only hope!

What, having a reporter in the same shot as the studio isn't worth setting up a tent for three weeks and a handful of ungodly expensive cameras? |

CNN.com Election 2004 I've been going back and forth with the '04 map results in comparison to this years, and I have to say, its looking very good for Obama in Indiana right now. |

And it looks worse than in Star Wars. |
Star Wars did set the bar pretty high.
Fox just called West Virginia for McCain...
Sorry, just wanted post 10,000 in this thread.
To make it political.... McCain with the early 8-3 lead going into the 2nd inning, but the Democrats have the middle of the lineup up in the next inning. |
Interesting to see how red Indiana was in 2004 compared to the results so far. Looking promising for Obama.
Dola-
So far Virginia and Florida are looking good for McCain as well... |
Quote:
Oh, darn. |
CNN is showing Florida early Obama 48 McCain 34. What happened to the other 18%? Pat Buchannon.
Yeah, but you got the 10,000th reply, Karl.

Riiiiiight. |
Obama just jumped McCain in FL by 100K votes
Quote:
Good call. One Shiner Bock for you. |
how are there almost 1 million votes from Florida yet they are reporting only 2% of precincts hace reported in.
Let me tell you, I barely watched any TV in my week in Florida last week due to all the damned political ads...
Quote:
That's essentially the Miami-Dade votes coming in. Would love to see how the rest of the State falls. |
I can picture a bunch of FOFCers with boners watching the TV, while other FOFCers sit watching the TV reaching for tissues.
Actually both groups need tissues, just for different reasons. |

And then you got people like me who will be playing Civ4 instead of putting up with more partisan bullshit. :) |
Who the heck is voting for McKinney? Wow.
I am guessing that not a lot of Capital Police officers will be voting for her.
Fox just called South Carolina for McCain...
...
As did NBC News. 16-3 McCain. But Nationally, so far, Obama has 54% of the national vote.
Obama up 100,000 votes in NC according to CNN.com

A bizarre and amusing threadjack attempt, to be sure. |
So far:
McCain (16): South Carolina (8) Kentucky (8) Obama (3): Vermont (3) |
CNN just made a lot of projections.
Fox calls a slew of NE states for Obama...
CNN just called New England for Obama.
NBC just called Pennsylvania for Obama.
so did Fox
PA getting called for Obama right at the close of polls (per NBC) -- that's really big.
