It looks like House Corax will need to take a loan out to send Louis LeBeau back into battle with.

I agree. I thought that it would have been a better fight. But I've found that the fights between middle rank opponents tend to go the quickest. They're just good enough to take advantage of their opponents mistakes, and just bad enough to make those mistakes.

In addition, matches will last longer when you have opponents who wear armor, or are versed in basic defense (4 fingers type, not the fighting style). What you had in this match was two different types of exploit skills going against each other. These exploit skills tend to happen less frequently, but cause more damage. When you have two fighters using these types of skills it makes for a short, yet good fight.

Currently three houses use exploit skills (Corax, Pain, Malice) and two use defensive skills (4 Fingers, Bloodhaus). In the offseason, the houses will choose a different type of training to fund for the new season, so the fighters will start to get complimentary skills.

Page 1 updated. I'm actually going to wait until Wednesday to do the next auction. Nobody is scheduled for week 10 yet, unless I'm blind and missed some posts. Please make some challenges, or your owners will do it for you. ;)

Also be on the look out for a Thunderdome Poll. I'm weighing some new ideas for Season 2 and will be looking for some feedback.
