No, it wasn't. The statement was that these were "solid 80s people".

To contribute to the 90s discussion and the cool pictures:

Tori, Amy mann, and the Cranberries were all solid 80's people that simply kept going in the 90's so they don't count either.

The list gets thinner and thinner for the 90's support...

Using your logic, Vince Clarke of both Erasure and Depeche Mode started playing music in the 70's and the both Chris Lowe and Neil Tennant also started playing in the 70's, so we can't really contribute that as 80's music, since they got their musical start in he 70's, not the 80's.

Exactly. They were "fringe 80s people" playing small clubs and what not. They are all "solid 90s people" when, you know, their careers actually took off, released popular solo albums, etc.

Just be a man, RendeR and admit you were off on this. There's nothing wrong with that. People respect people who admit when they make mistakes.

I did it that one time I made that one mistake and people really loved it that one time.

You want a "solid 80s person" here you go:

MacroGuru 09-29-2010 10:42 AM

Yup...this is all I am hearing right now...

This is actually true, they were products of the 70's, they simply didn't hit the big-time until the 80's and beyond.

Aimee Mann - no solo albums in the 80s.

What part of this statement did my evidence NOT refute?

Pass, its not all about you dude, sometimes people respond to OTHER posters too.

now, take the fucking music BS to another thread please.

This thread needs more tits. (And I don't mean Dobbs, Pass or blue's)

I admitted to knit-picking when I posted about the Cranberries. I can let that one go. The rest I stand by.

Now take it somewhere else.

Oh and Nice pic =) She was awesome.

Dola, I can't believe you fucks spent nearly a page bitching about 90s music. Worst page of the thread. I'd rather you posted Kathy Griffin and Carrot Top pictures.

You know, the only thing worse than a bunch of "fucks" bitching about 90s music and not posting any picks, is someone who posts in this thread to bitch about these said "fucks" and doesn't post any picks.

Get it together!

I say we do a '90s appreciation theme in the Images thread! Surely we can all get behind something in the '90s. I'll get behind this

This thread was ruined a long time ago when it became about T&A instead of cool images.

No. What ruined this thread was the stupid arguing and posting of gay things.

You see if you threw a picture with that comment you would have saved this thread.

However you're comment is absolutely gold.

One of my favorite memories of the 90's was Lawrence Taylor's last game as a pro. I'm sure you remember it...fabulous game.

Tori Amos and The Cranberries debuted in the '90's, so fail there.

And we get it - your taste in music blows chunks.

That doesn't look anything like the kid from King of the Hill. Are you saying all white cartoon people look alike? ;)
