I hate when people compare salaries to heirs. Pathetic. Let's compare Bill Gates' worth to a software designer as Microsoft. Meaningless and dumb. These cashiers are among the lowest skilled in the economy. Get an education or deal with it. Many of them are lucky to have any job based on their work ethic and skills, at least at many of the WM's I have been to (certainly not all workers). Agreed. Also, the bit about power consumption compared to the lowest 57 countries combined. There's quite a few nations in there that are not industrialized, small, etc. It would not surprise me one bit if you added the area of all Walmart stores globally if they weren't bigger than a few countries added together.

I am getting sick of the Walmart bashing. I don't like them, but there are plenty of other far worse companies out there. The problem is the left resents Walmart because they aren't unionized. I have family members that work at Walmart. They like it because they get paid more than they would for similar jobs at another store. Their benefits are not bad at all. These are people I would not trust my children with. They have very little redeeming value.
