King Robb,

Noted. You may be getting a raven from one of my bannermen after the current matter is resolved.

Coffee Warlord 05-24-2013 01:58 PM

Pleasure as always.

Coffee Warlord 05-24-2013 02:02 PM

I am really curious how many new PM's Chief gets every time he reloads a page.

Too many. :D

Chief Rum 05-24-2013 02:08 PM

Just a head's up. I need to get a ton of work done.

I will be checking out right now, and I will check back in shortly before deadline.

I will tally the votes and answer any questions that came up. Then I will run the Enemy of the Realm and initiate Day Four. But I will almost certainly need to jump back into work after that. So PMs on actions will filter back to you after the deadline into Saturday.

So if you don't see something right away, don't fret. Just go enjoy your holiday weekend. I'll post in here when everything is done, so if at that point you don't have a PM you expected, let me know.

path12 05-24-2013 02:23 PM

Lord Varys, I thank you. You should hear from me soon.

DaddyTorgo 05-24-2013 02:28 PM

[ooc] Lord Varys is going to go to the gym probably like...as soon as deadline hits. As per his stated policy, Lord Varys will not be voting. [/ooc]

path12 05-24-2013 02:29 PM

King Robb,

I was remiss earlier and forgot to thank you for the case of Riverrun wine, certainly it is as impressive as the groves of the Arbor.

I have heard wonderful things about the Northern whiskeys and scotches and hope that in the near future we may be able to arrange a way to sample one of them.

DaddyTorgo 05-24-2013 02:31 PM

Ahem,

I've heard wonderful things about the Northern girls - it's said that with the way they kiss they keep their boyfriends warm in winter.

I suppose that would not interest you though Lord Renly.

-Lord Varys

I am an adventurous man, my Lord. You never know.

path12 05-24-2013 03:10 PM

I am going to have to run and may not be back before deadline.

We have limited ravens left, there were (are) people who I wanted to get them before we voted but that is not going to be possible -- some of you though will be getting messages from us.

Since there has been a ruling that Enemies of the Realm cannot be voted for the Storm's End bannermen and I have discussed matters and they have graciously allowed me to place our votes in a bloc:

BRIENNE OF TARTH (FONT) VOTES FOR TYWIN LANNISTER (HOOPS)
LORD CORTNAY PENROSE (DARTH) VOTES FOR TYWIN LANNISTER (HOOPS)
SER LORAS TYRELL (MURRA5Y) VOTES FOR TYWIN LANNISTER (HOOPS)
KING RENLY BARATHEON (ME) VOTES FOR TYWIN LANNISTER (HOOPS)

DaddyTorgo 05-24-2013 03:31 PM

It appears that the Stag hunts the Lion. Backed into a corner, how will House Lannister respond? And what of House Baratheon of Dragonstone? Do they stand united with their kin? Whither House Stark and the North?

??

Narcizo 05-24-2013 03:42 PM

Times up. The offer I made will stand on the morrow.

Vote Brienne of Tarth/Fontisian

I would prefer my father stay in the service of my son, whether he wishes to or not. And why is this lumbering daughter of a nobody granted more power than I, a daughter of one of the most powerful houses in the realm?

Brienne is the perfect candidate for voting - I do not think Lord Renly will execute her and I do not believe she will leave his service. Voting for her will leave him flouting the laws of the realm again. If she does choose to flee my Lord Renly will gain very little from her departure.

Vote Tywin Lannister / Hoops

The same could be said about your father, could it not Cersei?

My Lord Varys, I do not believe that is an option...

Roose Bolton (JAG) Votes For Tywin Lannister (hoops)
Theon Greyjoy (Lathum) Votes For Tywin Lannister (hoops)

Pretty sure Lord Karstark is around, he can vote for himself. :)

I like the way you think Lord Baelish. Although what is this lynch that you speak of?

Well...I suppose if it's good enough for you...

VOTE NO LYNCH

-Lord Varys

bhlloy 05-24-2013 03:57 PM

Vote Brienne of Tarth/Fontisian

For all its worth, which is nothing

DaddyTorgo 05-24-2013 03:57 PM

An alliance seems to have been reached between the other three claimants. The focus of their attention shifts Westward, to Tywin Lannister himself. Perhaps their thinking is that dismantling Lord Joffrey's support at its root will leave him fatally wounded. Would that make the carcass easy prey for a wolf?

And if they succeed, what will the response of House Lannister be? What can it be? Unless Tywin Lannister has cut himself a deal with one of the other claimants and chooses to flee I believe Lord Joffrey has no choice but to keep Tywin in his service.

Should he flee, what then? Where will he end up? And what will his fate be? Can the entente cordial withstand the addition of a living Tywin Lannister to one of the three legs, or will that fatally unbalance things and wrench the three apart?

-Lord Varys

Danny 05-24-2013 03:58 PM

I did not realize Varys was playing the role of narrator.

I have many roles Lord Tywin, narrator the least among them. I have no ravens left today unfortunately, so you are likely unable to take advantage of my other roles.

Father really! Indeed you would consider it disappointing, were Joffrey in a stronger position. I would suggest you leave the mummery and lying to Tyrion.

I would ask you to remain with Joffrey if I believed you hadn't already planned your escape route and, I would expect, invested a sizeable amount of your free cash in improving Casterly Rock.

hoopsguy 05-24-2013 04:18 PM

I suspect the other would-be rulers would tell you that I've done very little planning of an escape route. Which may prove to be to my detriment. Time will tell ...

Coffee Warlord 05-24-2013 04:21 PM

All this talk of liquor makes me want to break out a cask of fine Winterfell scotch tonight.

And where would your Lord Father flee to Lady Cersei?

House Lannister has few friends, and in the game of thrones trust is a scarce commodity.

If only indeed Lord Tywin.

Unfortunately for you, news travels, even across the narrow sea, and she whom you speak of is doubtless no friend of yours, and would sooner see you fed to them as anything else I suspect.

path12 05-24-2013 04:49 PM

I am not sure where my ravens have gone. There are things I would like to say to a number of people.

You misunderstand me. I want the dragons, not her allegiance.
As long as I'm construing imaginary scenarios, I have one for each of the three pretender kings.

InBlue 05-24-2013 04:49 PM

VOTE TYWIN/HOOPSGUY

Lord Tywin,

I do not misunderstand you at all.

Perhaps I will have occasion to speak with you as you consider your future.

Chief Rum 05-24-2013 05:11 PM

Anything exciting happen while I was gone?

Chief Rum 05-24-2013 05:12 PM

Deadline.

Tallying votes.

Chief Rum 05-24-2013 05:15 PM

Seems like I won't be turning to Lord Tywin to aid in the vote counting this time...

Coffee Warlord 05-24-2013 05:16 PM

Jesus, someone decided to clean the coffee pot at work, and didn't dilute the vinegar. Fucking level 3 hazmat situation right now.

I like to imagine that literally everything CW does has to do with coffee.
