I wouldn't say more than anything else. I can think of several things I desire more. And Hand to which King? It would be nice to have access to someone not always deep in their cups though. Should any person wish to send me a raven I might have interesting information to offer. Dependent on who it is asking, naturally. I grow tired of being the pariah of Westeros.

I meant what do you intend to do specifically today. You are unable to remove Joffrey from the throne today as far as I can tell. Do you intend to chase my father into the waiting arms of Lord Renly? Or perhaps my father will choose to throw himself at the mercy of my son and be retained. Then what?

Further, have you considered what will happen on the morrow, when there are no more Lannister bannerman to brand an enemy of the state? The laws require someone be found guilty, which entails that you shall have to vote for a Baratheon bannerman. I am afraid that your temporary alliance is going to prove more short-lived than you would have hoped. Of course the willful disregard all kings have shown for the letter of the law means that the threat of banishment is as empty as the Imp's wine flagon at the end of the night. But the liege of the bannerman you choose to call a traitor may not see it that way.

Even further, tomorrow you may declare war on Joffrey. Will you do so? And risk the life of one of your bannermen, leaving yourself at a disadvantage compared to your foes? (because however much you may try to convince others and yourself, foes is what they are). I would presume that war will also weaken your own armies. Do you wish to leave yourself exposed in that fashion? But how else will you evict Joffrey from his throne?

This suggests that the dishonour brought on a king by failing to respect the law is cumulative. If my lord Stannis, for example, keeps the red sorceress in his service he shall suffer for it EVERY DAY.

I agree, but I can also see that if the King has evaded the issue, essentially, they could be forced to make the choice again. I think you're right, but it would make sense to be sure.

If not though wouldn't we just keep any bannermen voted out as long as we either wanted to take the honor hit or could afford to buy it off? That seems odd too.

(ooc I agree. I presumed that you could not accuse an enemy of the state of being an enemy of the state again (they are listed on the first page as Enemies of the State) but it is possible).
