You are funny kind sir!

I was allowing bulletsponge a chance to decide whether to flee or not, since that is his choice. However assumign he does not, my play is to
KEEP MELISANDRE IN MY SERVICE |
Chief - Can anyone else proclaim themselves King?
|
Quote:
That information is unknown. The Spider has rumors that a young woman in the far East desires the throne, but it seems unlikely she will reach this Kingdom soon. |
And it was my turn to accidentally click on the wrong House Thread. Managed to click the back button before the page even rendered.
|
Quote:
A further clarifying question - Can an existing player take over a claim if their current liege is killed? My fellow bannerman both proclaimed themselves King of the North in the books so if Robb were to fall, could they then claim themselves King of the North? |
Trying to replace me? :)
|
Also Chief - Can you change the house threads to start with the location? Instead of Game of Thrones House Stark, something like Stark Thread - GOT?
|
Quote:
More like does it go from 4 Kings to 3 to 2 to 1. Or can it go 4 Kings to 4 other ones to 3 to 3 to 2 to 1 etc I probably butchered my question though |
Quote:
This is also unknown to you. I feel like Varys! |
Quote:
Yes. Saw this request the other day and forgot to do it. |
Quote:
So what you are saying is that Theon can betray Robb Stark followed by Roose taking Winterfell from Theon? I know, I know, it's unknown to me. |
The faction thread titles have been changed to LANNISTER, STARK, STORM'S END and DRAGONSTONE to make it easier to click the right thread.

Actually, I'm telling you you will marry the wildling princess, raise Gilly's baby as your heir, throw down the Wall and then lead the Others to take over King's Landing. |
Much better, Chief. Thanks!

You are missing a parenthesis on the title of this thread FWIW :)

You know, I noticed that 2-3 days ago, but it was really late, so IO decided I ddin't care. :D |
Who is this IO? And why do they get to make the decisions around here? Who do you serve, Chief?
|
Can we pull page out of Arya's book, hire a faceless man, and name Chief Rum?
A man must have a name :) |
Our true enemy is Chief, my fellow kings and lords. Never forget that. :)
|
ANYWAY.
Good Kings Stannis and Renly, Clearly the continued arguing does little to progress anyone's goals. I offer this - Send an emissary each to Stark lands. I will attempt to mediate any grievances between you, and there are things I'd like to discuss with each of you any way. Let us not forget, the first goal should remain the destruction of Joffrey. This current disagreement must be resolved, or at least, set aside for another day. You've my word that nothing that is relayed between parties will go outside of my own holdings. |
Quote:
King Robb, I thank you for your generous offer. I have said my piece and will speak no more of the matter publicly and plan to speak directly with my brother today. I would be happy to continue discussions with you, but it will have to be by raven -- I had a man in your camp yesterday and cannot afford to have one there two days in a row, I am sure you understand. |
Argh. No bites.
The rumors of a young woman? Silver hair, Varys? |
Quote:
Lord Commander - Kindly refer to the raven which I sent to you previously. I would love nothing more than to rekindle our working relationship, for the good of the realm. |
Word has started to filter down from the various Kings of the land...
LAW BE DAMNED!! They will not give up their most powerful Lords or their closest allies because of this vote, even at the cost of besmirched honor. King Robb Stark spoke out first. He refused to turn over his Hand, Lord Roose Bolton. Bolton will remain with the Stark faction and as King Robb's closest trusted advisor. And then young King Joffrey stepped up, saying he will not allow his uncle to removed from House Lannister. This surprised no one, as the Lannisters can ill afford to lose a bannerman right now in any case. King Renly actually made his proclamation at the vote--but he made it official soon after King Joffrey--Ser Loras Tyrell, with whom the King has a very close relationship, would not be disavowed from Storm's End. There was some thought that King Stannis might not defy law, but it seems the power of religious fervor--and maybe more--proved the stronger of the forced within him. The Lady Melisandre will likely remain by his side. The people of Westeros are shocked by this turn of events, as they were certain at least one King would stand by the law. Is even one of them worthy of the honor, as they cater to criminals over their own people? |
I know of two who are worthy of the honor.
-Lord Varys |
I am appalled.
|
Quote:
My Lord Varys. Do you imply two kings are worthy of being king? One in the North andone on the Iron Throne? |
Quote:
My interest is piqued Lord Varys. To whom do you refer. I wonder if the kings refuting the law will have consequences that we cannot fathom? Maybe the people will call for another when all the current "kings" have shown a disregard for the law. |
Quote:
(The rules seem to make it difficult for a king to be killed while still a king. I guess there is the risk of assassaination but I can't see any other way to kill a king). |
An observation - there are lords who have yet to use their daily allotment of ravens to speak with me.
-Lord Varys |
An official Storm's End banner has been spotted in front of a small group of men approaching the House Lannister camp.
|
Quote:
We get an allotment to send to u? |
Quote:
[ooc] check the rules, but it's 1 per day i do believe. and the way i read it, they need to be initiated by you - i only get 1 myself [/ooc] |
Quote:
Kings get 1 freebie to Varys. |
Quote:
One may want to be quite sure of what they seek to know, my lord. |
Little Bird Report...
There seem to be more rumors aflutter about the kingdom today... Rumors ...Cersei Lannister desires, more than anything else, to be Hand to the King, replacing her father, and thus rule the Seven Kingdoms... ...There are rumblings of mysterious unknown forces in the northwest... ...House Lannister is well aware of the strength of Dragonstone's assets... ...Foreign emissaries have been seen in the Red Keep. A chambermaid told her friends that she saw the emissaries entering the depths of the Keep. The chambermaid heard the foreigners talking with Lord Varys and Tyrion Lannister... ...a certain Young Wolf has been chattering away with multiple Lions yesterday... ...Some in the Lannister camp believe Lady Melisandre has the ability to remove a king... ...Tywin Lannister refers to Joffrey Lannister as "worthless toad" and "a spoiled 12 year old" in private and states that his loyalty is less than absolute... |
Quote:
Of course - I quibble not with the timing, simply nothing this, for those who were not aware that all cages hold a raven who knows the way to the Master of Whispers. -Lord Varys |
Storm's End banners appear to be showing up everywhere. There is now apparently an official visitor from King Renly's camp at Dragonstone.
|
The emblem of the Direwolf flies above Storm's End. It appears that King Renly is entertaining a guest from House Stark.
|
Why is the deadline different today?
|
Chief has a ton of stuff to do tonight...notably a second job
|
The emblem of the baleful fiery stag of Dragonstone was seen on its way to visit Robb Stark in Winterfell.
|
There have got to be three times as many PM's than posts in this game.

Everyone should just start CCing me on all of the PM's then to read along! :) |
Is Alan going to end up being Walder Frey?
|
To the emmissary in camp: I'm busy for the next couple of hours, so if I don't respond right away, that's why.
