That's the fun of it...once you get into bikini territory the secret rules come into play. Some bikinis good, some bikinis bad....what the mitigating factors are, we don't know, but they may be revealed if someone guesses correctly.

Maybe a certain mod still has hard feelings stemming from a certain picture involving a certain patriotic thong?

On the one hand, the random and inconsistent modding with regards to hot chick pictures is really frustrating and irritating; on the other hand, as much as I like pictures of hot chicks, it's exceedingly easy to find them on the 'net. The intent of this thread IMO was to post interesting and/or funny pictures in a central location, and the hot chick thing doesn't really fit that intent. If people want a central repository of hot chick pictures, why not start a different thread for that...

MJ4H is the original founder of this thread, thus his "intent" is what governs what should and should not be posted in this thread. In the past, in order to gain clues of the original founder's intent, I have carefully reviewed his posting history in this thread and have come to the determination that "the hot chick thing" as well as "gifs" (Noopie Noopie Noop!) clearly "fit" the intent of this thread.

In sum, we hold that hot chicks and gifs can and should be posted in this thread.

I tend to hold back on the hot chicks thing in this thread because I have gotten banned over hot chicks in the past.

I support their inclusion in this thread as long as they follow all moderation guidelines.

I don't know which pic got TR boxed, but I will say that I was in here before he was boxed and remember that one of the pictures he posted actually bothered me. I don't even remember what it was, but I remember thinking he'd be boxed for it (no, I didn't "report" it). But it was one of the few pictures that actually bothered me.

This thread is like a boxing speed trap.

Honestly, as a guy it's easy to enjoy pictures of attractive women, but it's also easy to forget that there are women on this board. I know if this thread was covered with near naked men, I would likely not even bother coming in here. We should probably extend a courtesy and have a separate thread for pictures of women and keep this to actual cool pictures.

There was no link. It was just a pic of two girls in bikinis...not especially revealing ones either. It did have the word "naked" printed below it, but it wasn't the big bold word, it was one of the smaller text ones.

I actually don't "mind" the pictures, I have been able to ignore them. I honestly didn't think that the one that TR posted that bothered me had been a woman, but I'll be damned if I can remember what it was, only that I saw it, was slightly bothered, and thought he might get boxed. But generally speaking, as much as I'd appreciate fewer pictures of "hot girls" and more pictures of neat stuff (neat buildings, landscapes, illusions, etc), I've come to realize that this thread is what it is and if I want to see those truly cool pictures, I have to wade through the girls. (as I said, I didn't suggest the mods look at what TR posted, and I don't even remember what it was)

Put me in the camp that the pictures of women have detracted from this thread IMO. You can find these pictures anywhere online, what it has done is turn this thread into a 13 year old boys wet dream.
