To help the rest of the jedi. More than one person has stated my death would benefit the jedi. So be it. If I'm of more benefit dead than alive, I can hold my head high and sleep at night.

Well, I want to avoid lynching AE because I think he is clean. I don't have any read like that on Dubb. But I am a little concerned with why Dubb would choose to start a vote on AE.

I don't (and never will) understand why some villagers/jedi/whatever would play this way. I find it completely unhelpful to the rest of the good guys.

So either Ardent is a sith, or he's an unhelpful jedi keeping us from finding the sith. So he needs to go, IMO.

Thanks for being a jerk about it, kwhit.

Poli 03-05-2006 08:14 PM

I'd prefer at least one more vote in my direction so that no one feels I'll do a late switch.

Why is that being a jerk? It's my honest assessment of the situation.

Poli 03-05-2006 08:16 PM

My honest assessment is you're being a jerk.

By the way, I will be retiring from Werewolf games after this game. It's been a great run.

Barkeep49 03-05-2006 08:17 PM

Cartman are you locked on to Qwik?

It's pretty much how I feel too, does that make me a jerk? I just don't understand why you're being so defeatist about the entire exercise.

Do whatever you'd like, kwhit. You're still a jerk to me.

I'm not being a defeatist. I'm just choose a way to play the game others have in the past.

Telling someone they are useless is not a good way to win friends and influence people.

The way I read it is random selection from a small group. Summarizing why I think Dubb's argument is flawed: I see Eaglesfan as a sensible target on night 1. He's played a lot of these and obviously has insight into how people think and act. I would rate him as one of better players. Most people tend to overlook him a little, but he's good. No one dies on night 2. So it's not really shocking that all four should be alive.

Barkeep and Hoops are duking it out, so why bother? Attention will be on them without any help. That leaves AE as an excellent target. Well known, plays in a way that's hard to read, uses defensive tactics. So the list goes on. He's a perfect fall-guy.

Anyway, that's my take on it.

Uhhh, okay.

Maybe you're just playing the Blade "piss people off" tactic. Or maybe you're just having a bd day. Whatever the case, calling people names on a messageboard is pretty lame.

Well voting for yourself when a small bandwagon froms up on you, bu you still aren't even in the lvote lead yet, and complaining along the lines of 'well I might as well show you when I'm dead' seems pretty defeatist to me...

Earlier you said you have no passion for this game because you have no role. I don't mean to offend, but why did you apply to this game if you were just going to not care if you got, by far the most likely possibility, a plain Jedi role? That just seems incinsere to me more than anything else.

You don't get it.

I'm voting myself, not as a defeatist, but because more than one person has said the group would have more to gain from my death than from dubb's.

That, and certain people here are acting like jerks.

I think Eagle was on for last night because there was no heat on him and he had not put anything out there that may pit him against anyone. As far as last nigh, do you think one of the four (AE, Dubb, Hoops, Barkeep) was targeted for a Sith attack?

Barkeep49 03-05-2006 08:23 PM

Desnudo I love your analysis except why wouldn't dubb simply pile onto me or hoops if he's a wolf? Why put himself out there?

If I was, I have no knowledge of it.

Barkeep49 03-05-2006 08:25 PM

I also have no knowledge of the attack last night beyond what has been posted here.

Poli 03-05-2006 08:25 PM

I'd really like someone else to vote for me to seal the deal. Then I could trade my vote out to kwhit.

Dubb always puts himself out there when he is a wolf!

Grammaticus 03-05-2006 08:27 PM

Ardent if you are the Seer, you need to tell us.

Poli 03-05-2006 08:27 PM

I've said it about 8 times.

I am a plain jedi.

I looked into the Force for something to distinguish myself, and couldn't find anything. I'm an ordinary jedi. That's all. For 2 more minutes.

Unvote Ardent

Vote Dubb

Explanation forth coming shortly.

hoopsguy 03-05-2006 08:29 PM

If I was a target last night I have no knowledge of it. I would have posted on it, if not immediately then early enough for people to act on that information.

So here is what we know so far:
Eaglesfan/Alan T - force bond, Eagles definite Jedi
Lathum - special Jedi
Superman=#54 - ordinary Jedi (don't think this is a big assumption)
??? - bodyguard or blessed

I would assume that there is a seer out there.

I've thought to myself that Ardent might be a Duke with the way he was playing this - it appears we will see if that is the case in a couple of minutes.

Poli 03-05-2006 08:29 PM

I can tell you this, if I were a wolf, and the heat was on ME, I'd be offline right now.

Barkeep49 03-05-2006 08:29 PM

Actually nm. If Ardent's going to insist to the last that he's plain then my theory doesn't work.

Well one answer is obvious, I think. The other on is that you are both Jedi. Where do you think the lens will turn next if AE turns out to be a Jedi? I can see how this will play out already. AE is a jedi and the next one to go is hoops or barkeep depending on who has the more persuasive argument. If you are both Jedi, then you both end up dead in that scenario.

Maybe he is a Jedi that knows he is weak of mind and wants to get wacked so he does not get turned later??

WHAT????????????

My idea was that Ardent was the bodyguard and dubb was a wolf. Dubb attacked ardent and ardent knew this, as did dubb. Ardent didn't want to paint himself as a target, but dubb was afraid enough of him that it was worth going on the offensive.
