I was at GenCon last year and I had no clue they announced it there. If anyone would have noticed a football game release there, you'd think it would have been me. Hell, I played a demo of a dice rolling football game while there so it wasn't like I wasn't on the lookout for sports stuff. I didn't see a thing about Maxi Football though.

Going along the lines of the astonishing number of views...did a bit of number-running and figured out that at the rate things are going, this thread will catch up with the reference thread sometime in early April.

Of course, that's based on the lifetimes of both threads. I think this thread just exploded in the last week and couldn't guess how many views per day it's getting right now. It has averaged 515 views/day since it started at the end of December, but I daresay that that count was much, much lower before the alleged release date and much much higher now.

It won't happen in April if the game is released before then...

Have any of you caught some of the previous threads? It is not David's fault for this game not being out right now. It is Matrix's fault. David's install loader from reading previous threads worked. Matrix insisted that David used their way of the installer. I know David and all the Beta testers are trying to get this game out.. My personal oppinion is that this game was above what Matrix could handle, not David's fault at all. And for a certain of couple of posters who think they know everything about this game without playing and without being a beta tester.. I have also followed this game for a long time. Just because someone does not post often, does not mean they do not follow the progess of this game.. Nobody really cares that you have had email communication with David.. Another thing, if someone post a question for Matrix or David, let them answer first without you (know who you are) post answers to a game that you have never played yet. I would like to be in a league also, but I am not sure I can get a ride to all the games, because my mom works weird hours, and besides she doesnt know anyone here, so I can see her making some big deal out this for nothing. But, it would be fun and stuff to play.

So what have we learned in this thread?

• Vulcan-Maximus did not die in a horrible accident in Chicago and is a dick for pulling that off
