I dunno. I think it's pretty good symmetry there, with the two Captains in the middle and then the two science officer/super smart guy types. Data is probably the most "Spock-like" of all the character on ST:NG.

I think Spock and Data played very similar roles (the logical, non-emotional character) and that's probably why they both end up next to their respective captains.

about the rocket/skydive pic:

I think its a Delta II from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California?. I am pretty sure it was a planned jump coinciding with the rocket. Rocket was carrying the Italian Thales Alenia-Space COSMO-SkyMed Satellite.

Back tats are fine as long as they are mid-region and higher. I agree anything in the tramp-stamp area is not ok...unless you actually are gay, in which case it's fine.

what's wrong with a tattoo on your shoulder? that's part of your back. lower back tats, aka bullseyes, are incredibly rare and indeed pretty gay... but you can't discount the entire back.

Caitlin's team had a softball tournament 2 weekends ago (just got back from vacation on Sunday, so haven't been around much) and the team did great, finishing 2nd overall. Caitlin pitched great in 4 games (including beating a good friend of hers who pitches for another team to get to the championship game) and she was smacking the cover off the ball. First game on Sunday morning, which was a continuation of a suspended game from Saturday due to rain, she hit a bases loaded triple to win the game in the bottom of the 5th inning, and we ended up staying at the ballpark for over 14 hours (and delaying our vacation by a day since we didn't leave the park until nearly 9:30pm) because they just kept winning.

The first pic is her teammates running over to celebrate after the hit. Second pic is her either pitching or trying to fly, I can't tell which.

I miss Firefly. :( Kaylee was the cutest thing ever.
