If you don't see the humor in something that is obviously a joke, well, then, I'm not sure what to say. However, my sarcasm detector has been known to break down from time to time.

I see the humour, but my post was mainly supposed to show how I don't understand the crazy varying degrees people tolerate animal cruelty. But this is an images thread, and I don't want to bring my views here so I'll stop.

I can understand that. Definitely people have different levels or degrees to what they think is cruel and what isn't. Who am I to say that is real electrical tape wrapped around the hamster? It looks like it is, but, is it really? Could be photoshopped for all we know.

The picture, taken at face value, is hilarious in my opinion. A hamster with a steak knife. How is that not funny? However, when the great hamster uprising occurs, I shall disavow this entire posting. Back to the pictures!!! :D

I thought it was funny, and I don't think anyone else here feels as though it was meant to be degrading towards hamsters. If you disagree with me, I have a present to help you feel better.

Just wanted Mike to know he's not the only one. Cruelty is debatable, but my first thought was "sucks for the hamster, but good thing his owners got to post a picture on the internet."

This was the first picture ever taken of my dog. It was taken by the folks at the Detroit Animal Control and posted on Petfinder. I don't think we saw this picture until after we adopted him.

I know, I forget what my name is here sometimes so it probably looks funny for some of the stuff I say. My comment was meant as a joke, I are not serious about it.

But for the hamster image thing, I do think it's mean-spirited and if someone joked about a hamster with a knife to me, I'd laugh... but seeing an actual picture of a hamster with a knife electrical-taped to it... I don't find that very funny. The kitten with a frog hat is cute though.
