Looking back at who posted in this thread it is funny the number of people whose naes pop up that played a few games then fell off the grid. TheNorm, ImTheCrew, McCollins.

Then there are those who were hard core players that just fell off the grid. Cronin of course, Mr. Wednesday, Neon Chaos and Heinze.

Sorry J23, I probably would have voted for you too ;-) It's defnitely more satisfying getting night killed than lynched.

Wow, my first night one night kill. I'm actually quite pleased, as a vanilla I figured if I could draw a night kill it was probably my best service in a small game with so many players who are great villagers.

In my opinion (I think I said this in game thread as well), the Sci-Fi version is just infinitely superior. Being a fan of the books, I just wince every time I see freakin' Weirding Modules. :)

if it werent for them though, the original was much truer to the book IMO...the sci-fi version bored the piss out of me

If you look back I already covered this in the beginning of the game thread. I always thought the Lynch version was hokey, especially the graphics with the worms. The scifi miniseries on the other hand, is awesome, and I own it.

No he's just a fun person to pin it on. I haven't seen it in ages, not even sure if I ever saw the whole thing, so I can't really comment fully on it, I just seem to remember I didn't like the acting or the special affects. But you and Autumn both said you like it, maybe Ill give it another chance sometime, especially with the Lynch revelation.

FTR, I liked the movie, too, but have never read the books. I also liked the scifi series.

Keep in mind, the movie came out when I was, what 12? 13? So I don't know that my opinions of movies had fully formed at that time, beyond what seemed "cool". But I still remember enjoying that movie, being amazed at the intricate story and weird things going on, and being scared shitless by the scenes where people were trying to evade the worms.
