Uh no....this is the first I have heard of this. Does that mean EA allows their employee to produce competing sports titles (or attempt to)?

I'm pretty sure this was discovered at some point.. that he was maybe involved in the Head Coach line AFTER MF was released.

I've just been looking at the operationsports list of sports text games and find this list for football:

I always enjoyed playing Head Coach V3 back in the early nineties but have not been aware of a worthwhile multi-season, headcoach game since. Are any of the above worth downloading and playing?

I've been tempted by Strat-O-Matic, so was looking forward to opinion too. Enjoyed the board game, but I would prefer season on season progression, and can't work out if that is part of the PC version.

One you missed was Second & Ten - I've dl'd the demo a couple of times, but find it a little bit dry, and the career mode seems very clunky at best.

DDS: Pro Football hasn't been released yet, FWIW. I love FOF from a GM standpoint. TPF was a bit of a hot mess IMO, although some people really liked it. Football Mogul is terrible in every way.

Game somewhat reminds me of the FPS football series, mainly '96 version with Barry Sanders on the cover.

That is one great screen shot. I love how the grass to the right of the player looks like it has some kind of motion blur, the shadows' ultra realistic triangle shapes, the ball either being dropped or magically floating under the hand of the player and the frost bite on the player's finger tips.

If Maximum Football means, ultra realistic, I'm in!!!

Damn! It was just 7 years ago on this day that this song was dropped on one of the most amazing threads in FOFC. The thread that lingered for years and had a slew of developers as well as FOFCers contribute. If there are any new game developers and/or game publishers to find out what not to do, this is the best thread for reference.
