But it's their death scent that they release that attracts every wasp within a 100 mile radius, covered in foam or not.

Grammaticus 06-26-2011 10:41 PM

It's just what I do.

Rizon 06-26-2011 11:28 PM

I fucked with a wasp last summer. It was going back in forth from a patch of mud and trying to make a nest above a door to our house. Knowing wasps fuck shit up, I decided to fuck with it. When it put it's little mud wad on the wall and went back for more, I knocked it down. It kept flying back and forth trying to figure out what happened (it acted like it thought it was lost). After about a couple dozen times of this, it finally gave up and flew away.

Glengoyne 06-27-2011 12:27 AM

I'll second the foamy stuff. You can bring it down from 10 feet. Back when I was growing up, my father and I would burn them out. Wait until dusk, and then light the nest with a newspaper torch. You get the flame really going, and then when they do try to come out, their wings are singed right off. They you step on them when they fall to the ground.

Of course you can't do that when the nest is stuck to your house. That is how I learned about the spray stuff. 10 feet away, and I'm pretty sure that the can will do more than one nest. I wouldn't know, because I've never willingly stopped spraying.

GrantDawg 06-27-2011 08:00 AM

You guys are too funny. Wasps, hornets, yellow-jackets. If they don't start nothing, ain't going to be nothing.

I don't always take care of kids, but when I do, they usually scream wildly.

Rizon 06-27-2011 03:19 PM

I don't always hold screaming kids. But when I do, I need five different glasses for my champagne.

Julio Riddols 06-27-2011 03:40 PM

I think he is one of those dudes that plays the champagne glasses like a musical instrument.

Actually, I cannot. I recognize Dwayne Wade, but that's it.

BrianD 06-27-2011 04:03 PM

The guy posing with DWade in the second photo is wearing a Mavs cap in the first photo?

Does he have the hat in his hand in the 2nd pic?

JediKooter 06-27-2011 04:54 PM

Looks like it. Also, the white guy in the first pic reminds me of Elvis Costello for some reason.

Scoobz0202 06-27-2011 04:54 PM

Is that Kanye?

At least he took it off for the pic with DWade, maybe by request. But, he's clearly holding it.

Not sure if that's the 'funny' though, I don't see it either if it's not.

Kanye is seated next to Michael Stipe in the first photo (for those that hadn't recognized him...)

As others have mentioned, in the first photo Kanye is at some event sporting a Mavs cap. In the second he's reluctantly crushing the hat in his hands hiding it posing with DWade in a photo(they are both from Chicago).

The humor, to me anyways, is whether Kanye is trying to hide the photo. Or if Wade told him to stop being a frontrunner and take off the hat.

Finally, even allowing the premise that the Air Force does have jurisdiction over Bigfoot research, the Southwest is a terrible place to spearhead the research. The dry heat will dessicate the creatures and cause their hair to shed, negatively impacting creature sustainability. Wright-Patterson AFB is a much stronger candidate to ship the beast out. Large wooded areas on base provide good cover for outdoor habitat experimentation, the close proximity to Air Force Research Laboratory HQ is excellent for maintaining secrecy, and Hangar 18 can easily be retrofitted from the alien containment measures used in the Roswell Incident. Shame on the Weekly World News for failing to adequately research their scoops.

BTW what the hell is up with this rule.

Retired player names and/or numbers cannot be printed on the team's jersey from which they retired.

What a fucking joke.

Nope, so the price was a surprise. Just seems a bit too high, but I don't have anything to compare it to.

DanGarion 06-29-2011 05:39 PM

This is at a local burger place this month.

(their signature burger is called a 50/50, 50% Bacon, 50% Beef).

Mmmmm with a fried egg. Nice touch.

DanGarion 06-29-2011 05:47 PM

I didn't eat this one, a girl food blogger in Orange County got it a couple days ago. She added the bacon, because she thought it needed it, and she opted for the 1/3 50/50 patty, you could also get 2/3 or full 1#.
