Huh, I've been having a lot of problems with Red Xs lately on my home computer (IE 9, I believe), and that was one. I didn't go back to look at the posts this morning that I had already seen. Sorry.

I see the first part where it's the different shades of blue and then switches to the black and white image.

It doesn't immediately change to a black and white photo. It fades to it, but it's just subtle enough.

Left side wall is a pale yellow/creme colored so it fades easily as do the others. The leaves are definitely green though.

No, you are seeing the illusion. I stopped the animation the second it flipped, it's all black and white.
