LOL...man reading through this was pretty fun. Noop was doing his usual thing, love or hate it (I personally don't care for it most of the time, but then out of the blue he posts one or two that I actually enjoy), and then Sun Tzu had an apparent manic episode.

I really hope tis thread doesn't get killed because of all of this idiocy. There's some serious immaturity going on here, and it sucks that it could end up robbing the grown-ups of such a fun thread.

I'd also point out that I saw the wedding pics on FB (or maybe it was on here) and Sun Tzu's wife is very attractive, so I'm sure she's got no complaints about his performance/cause to look elsewhere. Just ya know...for the record.

Why is this thread so difficult?

This is how it should go- someone posts a picture, others look at picture if it is very cool, or you have a question regarding it comment on said picture, if you don't like it move on. Rinse, repeat.

Slave Lake is only 2 hours north of where I live. The town of approx. 7,000 was ravaged by wildfires that burnt down nearly half of the town. At least Slave Lake residents had some notice before half of their town was reduced to ashes...obviously the residents of Joplin didn't have that luxury.

While both those pictures are incredible, I see nothing cool about them.

I hope my wife doesn't cheat on me.

That looks like Slovenia to me, or maybe southern Slovakia (guessing by the onion dome on the church.)

I did a trip with my brothers across Slovenia (on the way to Budapest), then through Slovakia (on the way to Prague), and it was an absolute revelation to me. That part of the world is stunningly beautiful.

Out of curiosity, did you build yours from somebody else's design or is this all you?

The specific type of build is called UDS or Ugly Drum Smoker, I pretty much followed this guideline How to Build a BBQ Smoker Out of a Steel Drum but I've read hundreds of forum posts and blog posts on the subject.
