Nice baserunning.

Lathum 10-06-2009 08:00 PM

what a game

DeToxRox 10-06-2009 08:00 PM

Well, Raburn redeems himself there.

Young Drachma 10-06-2009 08:01 PM

Welp. More bonus baseball it is.

sovereignstar 10-06-2009 08:01 PM

Has Casilla tagged up yet?

larrymcg421 10-06-2009 08:01 PM

Premature base hit call there.

sovereignstar 10-06-2009 08:01 PM

How about now?

Sun Tzu 10-06-2009 08:01 PM

Casilla reached a split second too late. GREAT throw.

sovereignstar 10-06-2009 08:01 PM

Yet?

Sun Tzu 10-06-2009 08:02 PM

If Casilla was reaching for the plate throughout the entire slide he would have been save. He waited for whatever reason...I don't get it.

I'm not pulling for anybody here. I'm unfortunately a Giants fan.

k0ruptr 10-06-2009 08:04 PM

This is a fucking fantastic game!!!

larrymcg421 10-06-2009 08:06 PM

Wow, what the fuck is the point of standing 1 foot from the base? What are you trying to accomplish waiting there? Terrible baserunning.

sovereignstar 10-06-2009 08:11 PM

I'm not going to beat around the bush. Bobby Keppel is awesome...

I wouldn't go that far.

He plays that ball properly and he probably doesn't have to make that play and the Tigers are possibly playing tomorrow.

k0ruptr 10-06-2009 08:16 PM

I really hope they are, but I really doubt most of the playoff games will be this good.

Balldog 10-06-2009 08:16 PM

Jesus, someone send Curtis to the eye doctor.

Schmidty 10-06-2009 08:18 PM

This game is going to give me a heart attack.

M GO BLUE!!! 10-06-2009 08:18 PM

Yeah. This is a damn good game. I may have an ulcer, but it's a lot better to be here than sitting there at the end of a season looking at 119.

I am trying to be as positive as possible at this point. He made up for that play up to about 65%. We'll see if this keeps on if he can finish making up the other 35%.

sovereignstar 10-06-2009 08:18 PM

Put one in the seats, Joe. I need to do some laundry.

I love Darling saying he had a great jump on that ball. That was an AWFUL jump.

sovereignstar 10-06-2009 08:19 PM

ffs

Young Drachma 10-06-2009 08:19 PM

Geez. They might play into tomorrow.

DeToxRox 10-06-2009 08:19 PM

At this point whoever wins better hope their starter tomorrow can go 8 innings.

Young Drachma 10-06-2009 08:24 PM

Playoff shares are higher in an LDS sweep than finishing second in your division. Just saying...

Agreed. I am just saying the Yanks have to be loving this right now because regardless both teams will be spent, and then lost an hour once then get to New York.

Schmidty 10-06-2009 08:28 PM

Don Kelly!!!

bhlloy 10-06-2009 08:29 PM

Seems like a really sloppy game, but fun as hell to watch.

DeToxRox 10-06-2009 08:29 PM

If Detroit plates a run here, I have to wonder if the 22 year old rookie Ryan Perry comes in to close it out.

Young Drachma 10-06-2009 08:30 PM

Speaking of, they already give playoff shares to the four second place teams that are non-wild card teams, so why not just make those teams play for it?

It'd make things a lot more interesting to have a day of one-game playoffs the day after the regular season ends.

Karlifornia 10-06-2009 08:32 PM

lol "Master tacticians" surrre

DeToxRox 10-06-2009 08:32 PM

I hope that missed HBP doesn't bite the Tigs, mainly because this is a war and I'd hate to see it end up being a disputed win for the Twins should they win.

DeToxRox 10-06-2009 08:34 PM

Sidebar: I know the tats on Inges forearms are for his kids but wow they look terrible on him.

DeToxRox 10-06-2009 08:34 PM

Heads up play by Punto there.

DeToxRox 10-06-2009 08:35 PM

Okay Laird, 2-0.

I'd make him wait until he throws 2 strikes to swing.

sovereignstar 10-06-2009 08:36 PM

Throw a strike, you crackwhore!

sovereignstar 10-06-2009 08:37 PM

YES!

Young Drachma 10-06-2009 08:37 PM

What a choke job.

DeToxRox 10-06-2009 08:37 PM

Laird is so bad. Just terrible.

bhlloy 10-06-2009 08:38 PM

Laird has to show better discipline there, especially at 3-1

cmp 10-06-2009 08:38 PM

Thanks a lot Laird. That was ball four.

Schmidty 10-06-2009 08:38 PM

Typical Tigers. Typical Laird. He's terrible.

SirFozzie 10-06-2009 08:41 PM

How do you pronounce that?

k0ruptr 10-06-2009 08:41 PM

LOL, this game just keeps getting better!

mckerney 10-06-2009 08:41 PM

Holy shit, Carlos Gomez got on base!

DeToxRox 10-06-2009 08:41 PM

I can't believe Rodney is still in. He can hardly pitch 1 full inning without giving up a run, now you want 3 +?

DeToxRox 10-06-2009 08:42 PM

And dola, he has already given up runs tonight obviously. Ugh.

k0ruptr 10-06-2009 08:43 PM

Yes, if they want to win , they need to get him out of there ASAP

DeToxRox 10-06-2009 08:44 PM

Christ.
