i was having thoughts along these lines early today, but wasn't sure if i was allowed to say anything... being dead and all :)

I think most of the wolves are going to wait til the last minute so that if they can save Lathum, they will. Otherwise, they'll vote for him to blend in with the pack.

Hmm, not many votes so far, if it looks like we're only going to have a handful I may extend the voting by an hour.

I'm not sure what you mean. All I am saying is with so few people remaining the seer hold a huge advantage and why would he out himself.

I find it quiet odd that swaggs voted for jon, unvoted, and then voted again, after lathum got another vote.

Remember what I said earlier about the wolves spacing out the vote so it doesn't look obvious. Jon votes early. Then eaglesfan chimes in. Now they are trying to disguise themselves further by saying the late voters are wolves trying to protect me.

I can't believe you are voting for him. I really thought only wolves wouldn't vote for Lathum. I guess I can see both sides of the argument. Is Jon really the seer, or is he faking us out. I hope we get it right in the end.

At this point the seer has two choices, assuming it's Jon. One, remain quiet and potentially watch another villager, or himself get killed, effectively ending the game. Two, come out and get a wolf, get protected by the bodyguard, and hopefully get another wolf on the second try before he gets eaten on the next night.

I read through both your and Jon's posts and most of it didn't lead one way or the other. Except the discussion around Eaglesfan. Based on that dialogue, with you seemingly randomly accusing and Jon coming out with the a pretty clear statement that Eaglesfan is not a wolf. You also seem overly concerned with being eaten. I think it's a ruse.

If I'm wrong, Jon and Eagles are obviously the wolves, I'm sorry, and we'll all be dead with you.

He later clarified his suspicions in a new post. I think the initial accusation was an attempt to avoid being called out as the seer. It seems too sloppy for a wolf this late in the game.

Edit: He's also the only one who's posts seem to indicate some additional insight beyond what is on paper.

of course jon could have known that those who are called out early are usually lynched. quite a few of our lynchings have gone that way.

Jon did a great job of setting me up. He called me out early and forced me to defend myself. Then one of his partners, eaglesfan, joined in. I think the other wolf is someone who hasn't voted yet. Divide and conquer.

I'm not his partner and I'm not a wolf. I just hope my intuition and logic are correct in thinking that Jon is the seer.

The thing is, if he's not the seer, then who is? Maybe I have blinders on, but looking through posts, I don't see anyone else in that role.

Also, I haven't looked at the numbers to see if the villagers would have enough votes, but obviously Jon and Eaglesfan are going to get lynched if it turns out we're wrong about Lathum. So it's a very risky strategy for wolves who really don't need to risk it all to win.

So are the other people who vote against me. At least I don't have an obvious partner.

Exactly. The situation IS critical for the villagers. IF Jon is lying about being the seer, why isn't the real seer saying anything. This makes me more confident about my belief that Jon is the seer.

The worrisome thing is that from all of the data, it appears that Neuqua is a villager and we almost lost a crucial vote because of his absence. I hope he returns from MIA soon.

Now if they kill Jon tonight, it stands to reason there isnt a bodyguard. I have to wonder why they never offed me. I seem like an easy target, and my death wouldnt raise any more questions. however, they may have waited to long to do this and now the heat is on them.

Neuqua doesn't vote though, so I think killing him is pointless to the wolves. I think you have to protect Jon because the damage of him getting eaten is too high. High enough to sacrifice another villager.

If I don't see a post from Neuqua soon, I will replace him with someone else tomorrow.

I think the wolves underestimated the power of the duke. I know I certainly did. I am the only player in the game that can freely accuse other for better or for worse. If I had only been a better judge of character it might have hurt them even more. I have a feeling that in future games, they will eat the duke just to stop him from being such a loudmouth

Just in case I get eaten tonight here's a brief run down of who I think is a wolf:

Swaggs - He was on my suspect list before tonight's vote and the vote simply confirmed it. The very weird switch-unswitch move seemed contrived and meant to imply indecision, when I'm sure his decision was made well in advance. Also commented on stressing about being eaten, just like Lathum. I think it's a ruse. None of the villagers seem to comment about that aspect, since it's a fact of life for them.

KWhit - Jumped to defend Lathum from Jon and also tried to deflect attention onto NTNDeacon, all in the same post. Also previously tried to indict deacon. His attention on deacon is the reason why I don't think deacon is a wolf.

I really think it might just be these two remaining, unless one of the non-voters is also a wolf. Order of viewing, lynching for me would go Swaggs then KWhit.
