Huge basketball year for fans..NBA 2k10, Live 10, NCAA..If there is one thing basketball has over NFL, it is the options we have as gamers to choose. Would be great if Madden had some competition. Oh well.

With season upon us, I pick the Lakers to repeat. I know it is early, but they just look strong on paper. Honestly, who can beat them in West? The East is on its way back, and I can't see anyone besting the Celtics when they are healthy. I see the Lakers-Celtics going to seven games with Kobe carrying them over the top.

Who do you guys think is the favorite this year?

I can't wait for the season to start. With so many strong Teams in the West, I think the race will be close (like last year), with the Lakers coming out on Top again (they are just so deep). The East has some real competition this year, I think it will be a much tighter race in the East. Atlanta, Boston, Celevland, Detroit, all look good, and don't forget Orlando, and few sleeper teams. I would like to see a repeat of the finals a couple of years ago, with L.A. and Boston, with the Lakers taking it of course. In the meantime, I'll just play on my 360 (got both Live 10 and 2k10), until the real season starts!
