I agree with you, I think NBA2k11 will be a blast. I am also hoping that online team up is as good as advertised because I am looking to get that going if it is on point this year.

exactly. IF the servers work as they should. Team up will be insane, then everyone who plays "live" or "elite" or whatever they call themselves these days... can't point to the fact they can run Team up with no problems...

PS: But you gotta Admit. That picture of Emmitt Smith is perfect. lol

It would definitely be interesting to see 2k get back into the football market...but because of the exclusive NFL license with EA, Odds are it will never happen. If it ever does....Watch out we could have some amazing days of football ahead. lol

I'm really looking forward to the new controls, that's the only thing that was missing, I want to cross my man over, not have van animation defined for the way my player is moving, the NBA is built on isolation plays, and if 2k11 rings true with this then imagine how good online games will be, we will be seeing some insane moves online

@NBAfan- I agree 100% the games of the past had so many canned animations it was ridiculous. Some of them going to the basket also were unstoppable. here is to hoping that Canned Animations will be a thing of the past!

Personally, I need vids about the gameplay improvements. The game still looks the same, to me, based on that Gamescon vid. The Jordan thing started to get me a bit amped after a while but until I get more on the gameplay fixes and actually play the demo, my level of excitement will remain at about a 5 or 6.

@TreyIM2 - I'm a firm believer of not fixing something if it ain't broke, 2k10 had some minor flaws which from reading have been worked on this year, the huge one was the online servers, this was a huge relief to hear they have worked hard on, gameplay based, some things definitely needed to be tweaked but otherwise 2k10 was a great stepping platform into this years game, I'm pumped up for oct.

@EmmittSmith - yeah canned animation are old and should have been replaced years ago, sure the NBA is a physical game and i hope they boost up in air collisions and defensive physical play (holding, bumps, traps) and big physical blocked shots making a comeback too ( the lebron chase down block!!) and hopefully on offense they get rid of that animation that forces a shot into the back of the backboard, that shot makes me wanna boot my ps3 overall I think the end product will be off the hook

I'm looking forward to some new commentary about the Heat and THE DECISION, also I want to see a better half time setup. More authentic plays sounds great, oh and hopefully playoff crowds will be a lot different than regular season crowds.

I'm looking forward to My Player mode,new controls and association mode.I really hope they fix the freezing problems

@midway23- I am looking forward to my player too!!! hopefully its improved a bit cause I liked it last year.

2K Sports has said that "Like current teams, you will get the opportunity to play all of these teams in Quick Game, Association, Playoffs, and Season mode."

yea i'm excited for both games actually but 2k is really stepping it up!

@gamerkid421 I'm with you. I'm excited for both games and plan on getting both(bought both last year). 2K will give me that same feeling I've had for the past couple of years and I want to see how EA physics play out. Not looking for perfection from them but just want to see how it works.

2k is really bringing it hard this year. Hopefully they deliver on everything they have mentioned. It is getting closer and closer to October....and the game is right around the corner. Very great stuff you guys. I look forward to beating up on the bulls with my Lakers :P
